The plugin package version is 0.6.11. SPEC.md is method version 0.6.

Release Decision

This patch makes fresh-task orientation and independent verification first-class Codex workflows while preserving ordinary delivery as the default. It also adds a derived human documentation interface without changing the normative method, project-map schemas, or human authority boundary.

STAGE 1.0.0 remains an owner decision. This release does not infer acceptance of the proposed 1.x compatibility contract.

What Changed

• Add explicit-only stage-orient for read-only repository and task-context recovery.
• Add explicit-only stage-verify for check-only review of an existing delta, revision, artifact, or claim.
• Package deterministic helpers for Git/context inventory and verification preflight without turning either workflow into mutation authority.
• Keep stage-deliver-change as the implicit primary workflow and stage-map-project as an explicit optional workflow.
• Add an owner-facing Codex guide and a Docusaurus reading interface derived from canonical repository documents.

Compatibility

• SPEC.md remains method version 0.6.
• Project-map schemas remain exactly 0.1 and 0.3; no migration is required.
• Existing ordinary-delivery and project-mapping invocations remain compatible.
• The two new workflows are opt-in and declare allow_implicit_invocation: false.
• The documentation site is a consumer of canonical Markdown and does not add a second authority source.

Evidence

The source candidate passed:

• the change gate, including Ruff, 277 core tests across 26 modules, structured artifacts, supported studies and maps, repository links, and diff hygiene;
• the complete 443-test suite across 37 modules, including 166 Solo Unity profile tests across 11 modules;
• the current Codex plugin validator and all four current skill validators;
• the Docusaurus production build with broken links, anchors, routes, and images configured to fail closed; and
• npm audit --omit=dev with zero production dependency vulnerabilities.

The complete candidate was also copied into a disposable local clone, committed there, and passed scripts/check_repository.py --scope release. That run included all 443 tests, physical plugin-package completeness, schemas, case studies, the repository project map, the Solo Unity profile, Markdown links, the documentation map, and release diff policy. The disposable clone prevented candidate staging from altering the source repository's real Git index.

The local marketplace install reports 0.6.11 and contains all four declared skills. A fresh ephemeral Codex process explicitly invoked $stage-game-engineering:stage-orient, loaded the installed skill, ran its bundled inspector read-only, and stopped with the expected continuity-gap disposition for the candidate's dirty working tree. This establishes installed routing and stopping behavior for that bounded probe, not general model behavior.

Publication still requires rerunning the complete release gate against the exact checkpointed revision. Passing in the disposable candidate clone proves the current file set, not a future commit or tag.

Limitations

• Orientation reports repository and recorded task state; it cannot recover intent that was never written down or supplied by the human.
• Verification can establish only claims covered by completed material lanes. It cannot certify visuals, audio, feel, balance, comprehension, or fun without accountable human judgment.
• Deterministic helpers inventory state and suggest evidence surfaces; they do not run project tests or authorize edits.
• Docusaurus improves human navigation but does not replace canonical source files or eliminate the need to keep them accurate.
• STAGE remains optimized for the owner's personal workflow and does not claim independent adoption, productivity improvement, or universal fit.
